Get ready to finally discover the Cadillac F1 livery. They will show it in February during the Super Bowl!
Cadillac Team is preparing to unveil the F1 livery of its very first car during the 2026 Super Bowl. The event will be the moment for the American brand to show its colours before the official launch of its F1 season. This strategic choice highlights Cadillac’s ambition to make a strong impression both in the US and internationally.
A spectacular launch for the first Cadillac F1 livery
The reveal will take place in a commercial aired during the Super Bowl, one of the most-watched events in the United States. The NFL finale gathers more than 127 million viewers each year, giving Cadillac exceptional visibility.
Cadillac F1 CEO Dan Towriss explains: “The Super Bowl is one of the rare moments where sport, entertainment and storytelling come together. It allows us to introduce our Formula 1 team on a stage that reflects our identity.”
By choosing this event to reveal its F1 livery, Cadillac is emphasising its American heritage and its desire to showcase an audacious, innovative and distinctive style. The brand joins other manufacturers who have used the Super Bowl to launch motorsport programmes, including Nissan with its endurance project a few years earlier.
A careful preparation ahead of the reveal
The public unveil won’t happen immediately. Before showing its F1 livery, the Cadillac car will be tested on international circuits. The first session will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya at the end of January, behind closed doors. The second test will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit from February 11 to 13. A third session on the same track will follow afterwards.
With these tests, the team will be able to validate the car’s performance and fine-tune its setup before its official appearance in Melbourne, where the Australian Grand Prix will take place from March 6 to 8.
An ambitious American team for Formula 1
Alongside the announcement of its livery reveal date, Cadillac recently confirmed its drivers. On one hand, Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will be behind the wheel. On the other, Colton Herta, an IndyCar star, will take on a testing role.
This mix of experience and youth aims to maximise performance from the very first season. The team positions itself as the eleventh entrant on the F1 grid, bringing a new American dimension to the championship.
An F1 livery that embodies Cadillac’s identity
While the exact colours and patterns remain secret, Cadillac announces a design that reflects its image. It will be elegant, powerful as well as innovative. This first livery will be more than a simple design. It will also symbolise Cadillac’s entry into the world’s most prestigious motorsport.
The team is combining media strategy with technical preparation. Cadillac is turning the launch of its F1 livery into a major event. On February 8, fans will finally be able to discover the first official image of the American car and look ahead to a promising 2026 season.
